How do we generate business for our agents?

First, you should know that GreatWest GMAC is committed to partnering with it’s sales partners in generating business. GreatWest understands that the traditional real estate model no longer works in today’s real estate climate.  Realtors and agents are expecting more from the companies they work for.  This is why are focus is to generate business in house for our agents.  This is why we have committed amazing amounts of our resources to our in house Relocation/ Business Development Department.

GreatWest GMAC Real Estate generates business through several sources. These sources include: Internet, Relocation, Broker to Broker Referral, REO, Bank Owned, Short Sale, Floor Calls.  All company generated business sources are assigned and managed through our in house Business Development/ Relocation Department.  Managing this department is Melissa Shaul our Relocation Director.  Melissa manages and largely develops business through GMAC Homes Services, the parent company of GMAC Real Estate. GMAC Home Services consists of GMAC Mortgage, GMAC Solutions, Connections Plus and GMAC Global Relocation Services, now Brookfield Relocation. GreatWest has also developed and maintained great relationships with other relocation companies through our ERC (Employee Relocation Council) Membership nationally and globally.

One major business source for GreatWest is Bank Owned/ REO and Short Sale Listings.  Melissa has developed business with several Asset management companies including: GMAC Homecomings, Nation Star, Green River Capital, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, just to mention a few. GreatWest has even participated in several home auction processes in Sacramento with REDC or www.ushomeauction.com.  What does this all mean to you?  Business!

The business source that is now receiving  most of our attention and resources is the the development of cultivated and qualified buyers through the internet and floor calls.  Assisting Melissa in the development of this business is the Vice President Brodie Stephens, Sami Siddiqui the Broker Owner and Slade Hasimoto the Marketing Coordinator.  We are convinced that the success of GreatWest and our agents will be largely dependent on the ability to capture online market share.  The amount of leads coming in continues to increase about 20% each month.  Leads are cultivated by Slade and then assigned to our agents, when the buyers are ready to see homes and write offers.  What does this mean to our agents?  It means that GreatWest takes all of the risk and liability in generating this internet business, as it takes thousands of dollars a month.  It also means that we take all the work out of managing and cultivating this complex internet buyer.

We must also mention that our technology is unprecedented. We are doing an outstanding  job of propelling our agents ahead of their competition with our continued advancements in technology and commitment to Web 2.0 platforms.
